The RP Bloodstock site hasn't updated the sires table as yet (problem?), so these are the scores on the doors from what I can find:

    SOCIETY ROCK runs 95 wins 14 14.7%
    RED JAZZ 74-11-14.9
    HAVANA GOLD 59 -11-18.6

    Happy with that, Benny?

Very happy. I think he wins. Surprising that Racebets are still 13/8 actually.

The only thing I'm not happy about is that I couldn't get a proper sized bet on. Racebets took £60 and PP £40.

Of course he is biased; never knew him not to be !
I am trying to remember the stallion that Jim supported a lot in the late 1980s; his first crop were fair but unspectacular but his second crop of 2yos had up to 25 winners, most trained by JSB. Nordico was the horse !

that's apart of the old website, that page, hope they are not going to stop updating the bloodstock page, but its seems inevitable

Amazing to think that Camelot was 9/4 fav in some books for this title, I don't imagine he'll be as good as his dad but I'd like to think he'd produce something of note in the near future.

You have a great memory Edgt!

Nordico was a fairly versatile sire. I remember him siring Malvernico who won the Anglesea stakes for Jim and Denis Mahoney while his biggest claim to fame was when Nordic Surprise won the Irish Champion Hurdle as a 4yo under Charlie Swan beating the Sangster/Barry Hills raider Nomadic Way.

Eddie Kearns' son then rode him to finish 3rd or 4th in the Supreme..living down in Dunmore East last I heard.
