    Irish Champion Hurdle Weekend

Prompted by something Edgt asked on the C&H thread, I have impulsively hoovered-up some flights from O'Leary* this morning, meaning myself and member Digger will once again be in Dublin for the ICH Meeting.

As always, it would be great to meet-up with all of the usual suspects, and any unusual ones who might want to tag along too. Logistics to be sorted-out nearer the time (though the quicker Eddie and Art confirm we're good on tickets, the earlier I can confirm my status as the forum's most hard-working leech).

    Looking forward to it already.

    * At a mere £40 Return EDI-DUB each, I can confirm that there was no fall-out over charges.

We usually manage up to ten tickets for the day.
If I can persuade Baldeagle to become a member of Leop that could increase by a few more.
Always a great day out thanks to the visitors.

This thread has already warmed the oncoming winter.

I'm a questionable attendee, thanks to the intervention of a gigantic oaf who goes by the name of Sharkey), and a couple of related domestic constraints.

I am hoping to confirm positively in the next few days. Digger is definitely going, I think.

Yes - i'll be there. But as Grassy points out its gone from being a boys days out to inviting multiple family members and burds! Flying in Sat and back after racing on Sunday.

Plenty tickets for anyone wanting to meet up.
Art can choose the venue for breakfast .
A group photo around statue to HF will be a nice wallpaper for my phone.

Can do. If anyone's interested in meeting up for breakfast please let me know and I'll organise something.

Art, if you would be kind enough to send me a snap of the Hurricane Fly statue when you get there on Sunday, that would be greatly appreciated.

I'd even accept one with all your ugly mugs in it!

We'll do our best to battle our way through the milling crowds which I expect will be even denser that at Trump's inauguration.
