It was good-soft at the start of racing but it seems to taking some getting now.

Those may have been the guys who backed the jolly from 5/6 this morning in to 1/2

Anyone know how Warwick is likely to cope with all this rain? Just from a selfish point of view I'd love to see L'ami Serge take up his 2nd preference this weekend.

I keep banging on about this one but really fancy him to run well at Cheltenham - Vyta Du Roc has got three entries this weekend between 2m7 and 3 miles. Henderson will probably want to avoid More Of That at this stage so I expect him to win one of the two other potential engagements and quickly become a player in the RSA market.

I'll be taking some of the 25's prior to his run and may stick him in an e/w double with L'ami Serge who also looks set to enhance his Cheltenham claims this weekend. A Munir e/w treble for the three novice chases maybe pushing it a little too far.

Seem to recall that Diamond Geezer said after Leopardstown that he wouldn't be surprised if KV had sustained an injury.

    Hopefully anyone one is nrnb.

Might make Henry rethink ankle option for SJ too
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

JLT not NRNB so most (me included) have done our cash. Is to be expected though and there will be a couple more high profile drop outs in the next month or so for sure

Agree on Sizing and think there will be others as well. Could be a very small field Arkle...

Hope he's not burst again, even if he hasn't and he runs at Cheltenham ,it's something to consider.

Hmmm, hindsight is a fine thing but Daryl Jacob should be dictating his own pace on that kind of ground in a 3 runner race.

L'ami Serge won't jump round Cheltenham on that evidence.

Henderson is making an absolute mess of this season. Can he really be that unlucky to have so many fragile animals in his yard?

Yes Bear if it's not Nicky it's Jonjo or PN. These are high profile trainers with the best horses around and when they go wrong its news.

Who knows or cares why Rebecca Curtis's Potters Cross has been of the course for over 2 years. I never heard of the horse until today tbh

I very much doubt if Nicky Henderson does anything that causes his horses to break down or whatever.

He is praised to the eyeballs by people Like AP BG and Fitzy who have worked with the guy as a man with great affection for his horses.

    ----
Back to L'Ami Serge he got a clean bill of health from the vet and Nicky is bemused

I'm not I think he was totally outclassed by a fast improving horse who was 10 seconds on average faster than Taquin Du Seuil and 30 seconds faster than the other 3 horse race.

Violet Dancer is a Betfair Hurdle winner, L"ami Serge is the holder of ziltch and quite frankly he looked outclassed by a better horse. A Horse that if he learns to jump could be anything.
He must have hit 1/2 dozen fences and to still record a time like he did, that takes something special.
