Boylesports... whats the matter with them?

I am not the sort of punter that bets amounts that could ever cause anyone any problems and bet just a couple of times a week unless at the races.

I have had a very good year but my Boylesports account has been steady with a nice accrued balance over the years.

Wanted no more than a tenner today on at 7/2. "account restricted" Phoned. they said try a smaller amount. WTF?

Are they always like this ? Are they in trouble?

To me the entire business of bookmaking seems to be downsizing

They restricted me to SP only after a couple of bets (losers too)
Joke outfit but they are not alone.

    Except for FOBTs.
I wonder if anyone has been limited when trying to use Online Casino or Virtual Racing?

    Yes. Clowns.

Do bookies share info? One other account with a rival has rocketed this year (im not swanking.... just making a point) .

Otherwise how can they nail you so quickly Harry

taking under market prices with £50 bets is all I did.
Stan James was less than 5 bets (account closed) and Racebets was after my first bet (even money winner) only SP offered.
As I said, they aren't winning bets just ones that are beating SP prices often. They all limit, some quicker than others, much quicker.

They just want the "Acca" punters

888 32Red and Unibet all seemed to be connected where my restrictions were concerned.

    .
Twice in the past week I have attempted to avail of their 5+ football acca insurance offer to £25.

Both times when I have gone to place the bets they have been rejected due to them operating "Risk Control" procedures - whatever that means.

Have deleted the app now and won't be using them again.

Because you can make a lot of money betting with bookies and laying with Betfair.....if you get the price right you have a free bet every time even covering the betfair commission very lucrative but time consuming and short lived as mentioned above.

    They are the same firm.

I opened an account with 32Red last night and my first bet request was €125 @ 80/1 on Rooney/Man Utd double. A complete mug bet. I was allowed €6.26

The secret is to lose and make sure you lose enough to justify their admin work then they will never restrict you nor will the close your account

i understand that Harry..but you know after a while surely you will get your account reduced with a bookie doing this if you are any good at it. If you compare an ordinary punters account to an arbers account i would imagine it doesn't take long before bookie Bill spots the arber and reduces his stake.

i just don't see the arbing as a long term project..you will get found out and reduced to a level that makes arbing poiintless

far better spend time finding a winning strategy overall and just play betfair..as the alternative is spend same time looking for arbs and being restricted to 20 quid bet or whatever

to me arbing was a novelty when betfair started..now its exposed and as such isn't really going to put bread on the table as bookies are aware of it..it was a glich for a while..but surely now that time has passed

the arbing game was an "in that time" strategy..not a long time burner imo

Multiples are not available. They are done through the sportsbook who will close you as soon as you back a horse over night at 5/1 that goes off 3/1.

multiples are avilable Slim..i don't use them loads but i'm not seeing any advantage any bookie has over betfair..in fact the reverse

i haven't used a bookie since days i went in shops regular..15 years+ ago..i'm surprised anyone still uses them..amazed tbh that i still hear about people not getting what they want on

obviously i'm not in your league of stakes

i do ok though,,,without one bookie..and have done for years
