It is. I was wondering exactly the same. I presume it's not commercially viable which is a shame.

** SCOTTISH GRAND NATIONAL DAY ON TIMEFORM RADIO **

Afternoon: Ayr, Newbury, Bangor, Thirsk (Navan on the Timeform Radio telephone service)
    Presenter: Alan Dudman

Someone better tell Dudders it's been cancelled or he'll be sitting there talking to himself all day on Saturday

Betfair should use logic and 100% subsidize what is the best radio station on the planet, if that is what it needs..........No more Timeform/Betfair will hurt Betfair big time IMO.

Anyone newcomers at some point look for a radio station and they were sure to come across TRF and cotton on to the benefits of betting with Betfair through them.

According to Betfair: "The growth of live streaming meant a fully staffed in house radio station was no longer commercially viable"

I used to listen to Timeform Radio all the time..then it started having just one presenter..i then noticed they had gone to Will Hill Radio..including Rory...so i listen to that all the time now..its pretty good as well..some very good people on it

Rory will know whats happened..whether he can say might be a different thing though

I'm gutted to lose Timeform Radio really. I'm not really a fan of Timeform as a research tool but the radio station was reliable and decent on quality.

I've tried to get William Hill Radio today and it re-buffers every 30 seconds to a minute. Goes off a couple of times at least per race and when it is playing the commentary/ presenter talking speed is 1.5x. Not happy with it to put it nicely.

It might be worth trying Racing FM, Dan. I've only listened in a couple of times to follow a particular race but I've had no problems.

Thanks Grey. Will give it a try. I'm similar, only need it for short periods for races I have an interest in. Listening all day would mean I'd get less work done that I do normally!

I've had the same problem with WH Radio, but assumed it was my ancient computer that crashes all the time [usually just at the end of a race]. Used to have it on all the time as much as for the banter as the racing.

I listened to Timeform radio all the time and she'll be sadly missed. What happened Rory?
Pluralism of Ideas and the prosperity of any land are intertwined. Freedom of minds and skill of intellect to 'think the unthinkable' is how humanity has progressed; when minds are incarcerated nothing endures.

Got Racing FM on now. Perfect replacement for what I need. At least I get a continuous commentary without re-buffering and fast forwarded broadcast.
