    Mares race day 1

    I took Polly Peachum 9/1 EW 123 1/4 NRNB

I dont rate Annie Power as high as comercial handicappers, is a big
mare coming after a long lay off with an injury, I think if they
thought she was fully fit they could go to the satyers which is a
winnable race. I think she will run to a mark no better than 150.

Glens Melody is not better than 150

and the one for me here is Polly Pecahum, with course form, I am
prepared to forgert her last run,
goes well fresh and conditions should suit, I think she can run a 155

    I liked Little king Robin.
Her last run was disappointing but they found a reason .
Once she is over it she could run a big race at a big price.

The way Ruby was talking about riding the first 4 winners and the odds against it I'd say Annie Power will run in the mares for sure.

He certainly never even hinted that she wouldn't run

When are the final decs anyway? is it Sunday or Monday?

Monday. She's 47 for the World Hurdle on Betfair.
The older I get the better I was.

    So did Willie.

I have to disagree with Suny. I think she'll win this on the bridle and is a class apart from these. Its an insult to her that she's running in this to be honest. Its a warm up for something at Punchestown.

    Yep, could be.

I just hope he doesn't take the Quevega route year in year out with Annie. She surely has to go chasing next year.

If it ends up like that Ricci doesn't deserve the talent he's getting.

First race back from injury - easy win in the mares...then on to better things.

I find it hard to look past Annie winning easily.
Think Glens Melody will make the three. Sunys selection certainly has chances behind the favourite.

If I was Trying to find one that could maybe place at a slightly bigger price then I would give L'Unique a go at 16s. If they good a decent enough gallop then can see her finishing off well.
All comers, all grounds, all beaten!

This perfect mix of poetry and destruction.

Re Annie Power......she is a mare

Bit of decent prize money from winning a few mares hurdles and breeding seems more logical than going chasing increasing the likely hood of an accident and perhaps losing all.. Gawd forbid.

Annie Power out injured again - small niggle they said

    Straight to Cheltenham
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

    The difference is Quevega won.
Annie has yet to win there.
Smaller horses are easier to get and keep right methinks.
    Rotten news though.
