Well, the 'one' I had my eye on was Buywise.........who has been cut to around 10/1 for the race, after winning a novice hurdle earlier today.

Think plenty will have had their eye on him. Clearly needs to sort his jumping but no doubt of his ability. Could certainly bag a nice race.

Has that kind of profile, Frankel - agreed.
Were they looking when he was 18.0 though?

No doubt the shrewdies would have been making sure they got a look at the first showing of betting.
April convinced me he could run a big race in this if putting in a good round.
18s nice

Trainer saying Buywise facing fitness battle. Is contemplating running him again before Paddy Power.

If Nicky were to run Simonsig the ar$e would drop out of the trousers of anyone who backed anything else
Been busy so no idea if he runs or not so best I wait and see

Formely Fist of Fury
Simonsig's not entered. King George seems to be his target but haven't read anything on where he starts off
Simonsig isn't declared.
Given the time he's had off - coupled with his steeplechasing inexperience, the weight he was scheduled to carry, and the fact he'd doubtless be looked after on his comeback - he would be one of those I'd be least concerned about, if he ran.

Cheers Grassy. I thinks it's a bit close to Xmas, but Mr Henderson clearly knows a lot more than me
I had a dice-roller on Balleycasey at three-figure odds a week or so ago - pretty-much convinced he'd go to the Durkan - but he did get the entry, and he's now 24 to Back (last price laid 44).
Anyone know if Mullins plans on sending him over?

Any of you boys coming over for this?
Radjhani Express look's like a good e/w bet to me.
He ran a solid fifth in this event last season before an excellent third behind Dynaste in the Ryanair after a five month break. He certainly couldn't have had a hard race at Aintree after unseating, (that track doesn't look like his cup of tea), but his record around Cheltenham looks good.
He'll be high up the weights, (joint top-weight infact... if Menorah comes out as expected), but he deserves to carry that weight & 2M4F on decent ground in the Paddy Power isn't exactly like lumping the same weight around Uttoxeter in the Midlands National on bad ground.
This looks like his best opportunity to land a big prize as he'll always be prone to bumping into a really class horse at the festival as he did with Dynaste.
His name sounds more like an Indian curry house than a PP winner (although I read it actually is a high speed railway service over in India). However, I won't discriminate on that basis.

Can't have Rajdhani Express in any way, marble.
For all that the form of last year's PPGC has generally been upheld, he was well beaten in the last edition, and he runs from a higher-mark this year. Whilst I think he will run an honest race, there are surely much-better handicapped animals in opposition.
Handicapper has taken no chances with Balleycasey (153), but he is now no bigger than 18.5 to Back (though nowt at all on Lay side). Anyone know if this yoke runs?

You need to stop looking Grassy. You are already on the winner.
If he can get him fit that is

I think there are some if's-and-but's with Rajdhani Express, if he jumps without mistakes... if he's on a going day, etc... I'm hopeful with a bit of juice in the ground (which will take a bit of sting out of his rivals) he'll be bang there as he was on the home turn last year under getting done for toe..
A similar thing happened in the Ryanair at the business end when he carried a big weight.
I can only try to find a solid e/w bet, unless there's an Exotic Dancer in the field which I can't see at the moment.
