I'm afraid I ended up backing Winter, LUKE. Doh

Today I think Muirin is overpriced in the Moyglare. The ground is an unknown for her, but her sire handled cut so maybe she will too. She won very well I thought on her debut and the form has worked out quite well.

I'll also be hoping Freescape goes well in the sales race because it's owned by a friend, but the favourite looks very hard to beat.

Place laying Caravaggio today - The gradual lowering of sights has started but he's Gone at the game imo, these flashy American breds seem to have next to no longevity.

I'm sort of in cover mode today. The 7s I have on Beckford looks very juicy but I've been in similar possies in the very recent past (Librisa Breeze in the Hungerford and Dartmouth in the Lonsdale) and not collected so I've backed Verbal Dexterity at 11/4 and have Rostropovich in a double with Clemmie, who I also have in a single as protection on my nice Alpha Centauri position (have her at 5s).

As good as any of his recent winners of the race according to Bolger - a noteworthy statement in itself from the man, and bound for the Dewhurst

For sale obviously; Brendan Duke has another nice Vocalised that won again at Listowel and Brendan is bullish that this is the real thing.

Just back from Ireland. I won't be returning for next year's renewal if they insist on using the Curragh again for the second day. The strong winds and absence of solid shelter made yesterday a miserable experience.

Part of the reason for sticking with the Curragh is that it's supposed to have the better sprint track. But look at the draw bias yesterday, if you weren't near the stand rail you had no chance. It's not acceptable for top class racing, and Leopardstown wouldn't be any worse until it's dealt with.

According to a report I heard on the radio Art, there is absolutely no chance it moves from the Curragh next year
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

I heard that too, they decided it at a meeting on Friday. Interesting timing.
