Glorious woman. Clive didn't say she wasn't sexy, just that she wouldn't be into his obscure tastes.
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

I disagree, she's extremely sexy, and has a distinct look of 'would let you put it anywhere'.

Grasshopper... Foremost fountain of knowledge on all things 2mile hurdle related.

Food of choice - servings and servings of fish before it dries up permanently.
Something reminded me of this thread earlier. Bennys guest list.

    Nearly 4 years later

    Rebecca still very welcome

Wilie can fleck off now with how he campaigns his chasers. Elliott would be more fun and knows how to campaign.

Geraghty just about still makes the list

Grassy will be there to educate all on the best hurdler we have seen

Still room for fish as still the odd non believer in existence

Ha, just re-read this. My guest list still very much the same, but more legal.

A nice Mediterranean dish would suffice.
I want to swap Patsy Byrne for someone else, but i'm not sure who yet.

Fallon's scintillating conversation skills were aired on the Late Late Show last night.

As for dinner, Francesca and any sisters she may have.
"And still they gazed and still the wonder grew. That one small head could carry all he knew.

And that small head knew that Impaire Et Passe would win the Champion Hurdle."

In order to find out some of racing's secrets I'd have John Magnier, J P McManus, John Ferguson (not Alex) and Nicky Henderson, but they'd all have to take a truth drug to loosen their tongues.

Geraghty - he wouldn't have to say anything - I would just stare at his eyes
    Fallon
    Piggott
John Ferguson - to find out what really happened and other views he may have, plus he's a decent guy.

I saw a quote somewhere over the weekend regarding Lester. The late Jeremy Tree (trainer) said to Lester "I've been asked to speak at a dinner and tell them everything I know about racing, what should I tell them ?"

Lester's response "Tell them you've got flu"

If you have any of that truth drug left, I would invite John Magnier, Jim Bolger, Aidan O'Brien and Willie Mullins.

Was listening to Fallon on the radio earlier. If he is your table company you better bring some poison for yourself as it won't be fun

Tom Costello; horse buyer extraordinaire- there could be six horses in a field and to get the one he wanted he would buy all six and you would never know which one he was after.
James Delahooke : had the best job in racing; built up the Abdullah empire from scratch and blew it in a moment of madness.
Cash Asmussen: he rode the best for the best and always talked a good race before and after the event.
An Capall to write the definitive article on the conversation !
