I haven't seen much about this, just a tweet from a couple of days ago, but apparently Strong Flow has died in retirement.

Unsure if noted elsewhere but Real Steel is no longer with us
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done

That's a blow - after his Ryanair win he looked like he could do well over 2 miles this year .

Good to hear that; I'm sure he'll be well looked after by Paddy. I assume he must have been very fond of the horse when he rode for NTD.

Pretty sick at this news. He was right up there with Camden Tanner, in terms of moderate Irish yokes I couldn't help backing over the years.

That's a shame, he was one of my current favourites - not least because he was brilliantly named.

Group 2 winner and Grand Steeplechase De Paris/Prix La Haye Jousselin regular Pibrac was killed in a fall at Clairefontaine on Saturday - he amassed a total of 875,000 (Euro's) since debuting on the flat at Fontainebleau in 2007.

Good luck to him. He might say differently but am sure the impact racing has had on his family in recent years played a role in this
