Just read this on facebook. Poor beautiful Bill. Bl**dy bl**dy colic. Damn.
Olly Stevens will not be renewing his trainer’s licence next year despite having enjoyed significant top-level success in three brief years at the helm of Sheikh Fahad’s Robins Farm Racing operation near Chiddingfold in Surrey.
That's a fair shock, DG! Having just read the RP report, I wonder how much more there is to it. I realise that any salaried job however much desired can be a very hard role to maintain and possibly the pressure on top of having a young family puts things into perspective. A great shame as he had done so well, so quickly.

Not sure if it's a David O' Brien scenario or if he was pushed. If he did it for his children fair dues to him.
If I heard them correctly on WH radio Lindsay Charnock passed away today?
Formely Fist of Fury
Being reported as so on Facebook -very sad news.

Oh, that's very sad.
Didn't he have a leg amputated some years ago, but continued to ride out at Easterby's using a prosthetic limb?
Rest in peace, Lindsay.

Monbeg Dude unlikely to be seen before the 2016 Grand National and even that is not guaranteed, tendon injury not clearing up as quickly as hoped.
Clive Brittain set to retire at the end of the season along with his current stable star Rizeena.
Wonder who will buy the yard which is to be put up for sale - lovely place, I'd imagine there will be a few after it.

Pebbles is one of my earliest flat racing memories. Happy retirement Clive
