Easton angel is 5/1 with ppower for queen mary it's not much of a price but hard to believe there can be 3/4 better than her and as yet no evidence that there's necessarily going to even that, hopefully a few more books up this week..

    Maccus

Respectable time by maccus, usually I just note these sort of times for being decent handicappers maybe listed runners as there is usually a proliferation of them but even the very best times have been few and far between have around half a dozen like this very similar to dream dreamer that ran poorly at bath this runner.Duid well from the 13 draw on outside to eventualyl end up on standside rail in low draw position,so must've lost several length in doing so and won easily going away, the time was only a second slower than the kinglami winning off 82 later on the card in older horse handicap,at this stage its a guestimation but with improvement could well be a 90+ runner so worth looking out for when given a mark.If the times continue to be so average then might even be seen in listed races...

    Slingsby

A strange result and time on the card at redcar, very rarely back at the track and very rarely use the times for form but will make an exception with this strange looking time in the claimer. The 70 rated 3yr old rough courte beating the 51 rated slingsby by 2ls yet off levels, there seemed to be a huge advantage from the front as was seen in the class 4 handicaps over a mile and 7fs earlier on the card. The strange thing was the time, the claimer run .06 faster than the class 4 over a mile, both races they went a real clip rough courte had no form even at best to get near the time of that race amnd slingsbys was non existent. The time of the race also compared well to the 7f class 4 as well so as slingsby was only off 51 has only had 8 races it maybe worth giving him a couple of chances although not certain what his revised mark will be.He could just be massively overpriced if this run is repeated...

    Penny dreadful

She's only got a 5 pound rise for winning by 7ls from neutron bomb, the result looked dubious as she had looked a little exposed but the way she won and the time at catterick was slightly quicker than the older handicap won by 72 rated monarch maid as I mentioned on the day.She as a 3yr old looks well in off revised mark and on these sort of tracks catterick chester etc she wil probably be overpriced as the win might get dismissed as not improvement, she'd only had the 4 lifetime runs anyway so no reason to doubt she has imprioved...

be interesting to see how easily Eltezam wins today..i get the Birchwood race as probably one of the best 2yo races this year ...there was the headwind issue that day so it may be misleading but i think Birchwood is best 2yo at the moment if correct..120 figure after mark up...and Eltezam potentially a 118. If those figures are right then Eltezam could win by far enough for them to shorten odds in the Coventry market..which will shorten Birchwood up in process

A decent looking maiden wuth the front 3 finishing clear and the winning time only 1.2 seconds slower than robot boy breaking the track record, although the ground was pretty quick that still looks a pointer to the 2yr olds being listed class at least with normal improvement. The winner from the Meehan stable, hasn't had much in recent times and they rarely win first time out so could expect a lot more improvement, the runner up a filly so probably equally interesting as not yet even 2 these two set the benchmark almost definitely ascot bound. This early season maiden hasn't been that good in recent times,i think this race looks better race than the last 3/4 years..

Had lovely double with the the one on here today 6/4 and 5/6 took 20/1 for the Coventry this morning as well, now 12s although on the run today looks unlikely winner but still the 2yr olds look very weak so hard say any definites.

    Direct times

Still very lightky raced direct times only 4 lifetime runs, ran very free in this race on slow ground and just didn't get home quicker ground and sett;ing better he matybe better than shown in this race certainly gave the impression of best horse in race but couldn't pick up after being so keen.Wouldn't even surprise me iofg he was dropped to 5f but sure better ground over 6fs will suit, don't think this was much a race either so he will need to improve again.Wouldn't be taking short prices but he does goive the impression he can can be slightly better than this grade so maybe another win or two during the summer..

Also see limatos 5/4 at haydock on Saturday, grounds riding very slow and more rain fcast whether candy will believe going reports and run it will be interesting as could get massively overbet on ground its never run on and might just throw up a decent ew alternative.

Good/Soft by looks of it on todays times..more rain due overnight...he will still call it Good though tomorrow to save withdrawals.....one i really like for that race is MATTMU..stable won tonight with No Poppy who looked handicapped to hilt..won like a 1/4 shot..Mattmu will love the ground ..unlike many in the race

If limato does win tomorrow,he will be entered in everything and could well be the best all aged sprinter around especially if he were to win convincingly he'd be fav for all the major sprints so will be interesting test.
