He's joining in a couple of years too late

Rubi Ball's form has inexplicably fallen off a cliff since his win in the 2011 Jousellin. Maybe there's been some physical impairment which has held him back, or possibly connections think the change of scenery might help...but there's every chance he just was an early-maturing type, who shot his bolt more quickly than his peers.
Mullins will need to work some magic, to get RB getting competitive at G1-level in staying Irish chases next season; not least because of some of the horses in his own yard.
I reckon Rubi Ball will be hard-to-place myself.

Rubí Ball was 164 at his best
Has been out of form but in mullins bands he could turn in a gold cup horse.
Interesting move
Same owners or has he been bought?
Same owners.
Something like the James Nicholson could be winnable
Some people say he’s the best since Arkle and that’s certainly true when you look at what he’s done
I'll see you on the exchanges in November, granger.

Well worth taking him abroad now the Papot family have Bel La Vie established as the nations leading staying chaser - his campaigning should be a lesson to all French owners in having patience with a horse and taking your itme

Willie has a pair of intresting entries in the maiden hurdle at Tipperary next Thursday. The ex French trained Lucky Bridle and the former John Gosden horse Daneking, both of which cost six figure sums at auction last autumn.
Ricci said: "I love it here (in Ireland), I wouldn't race anywhere else.
"We race in England, selectively, but here it's good.
"I told Willie Mullins, I guess in 2005 when I bought a horse with him, that I'd buy more horses if there was a chance to be successful, and we've had great success.
"We had nine Grade One winners globally last season - seven in Ireland, one in the UK and one in Japan. It's extraordinary.
"I've very honoured to have such great support from Willie and all the people in Ireland for our horses, and I'll continue to participate here for as long as I can.
"It's wonderful. Great racing, great people, great prize-money and great craic."

Cheers granger, good reading. Lots to look forward to. Wouldn't be the biggest shock in d world to see Boston Bob ending up in the World Hurdle.
Thanks Granger, I notice Back in Focus isn't mentioned, has anyone heard anything of him?
An amazing team to take into battle. Think it's time for another Champagne investment.
