Newmarket seems to have lost the fixture where 6 out of 7 races were 2yo events. Think it was there last year.
This No Winners flag is becoming a bit boring.
No Bell videos at the moment. Nice win for Flame's House Edge by 5 lengths at Musselburgh, but no price I'm afraid. Must give Bell some confidence...
Well at last Sheriff makes his debut tomorrow at Yarmouth. In the first division of the maiden Bell saddles Jawan who has been in the same gallops as Sheriff, House Edge and Demurer. He also did an...
Bell Watch
Most impressive piece of work seen was Sheriff putting his galloping companion, Neverbeen to Paris (placed twice already), to the sword. This colt has still not been entered but his...
Lethal Force making a late run with 2 more today (Monday). It may not be over yet. Though Society Rock picked up one on Sunday
Couple of nice wins for FSSs. I was very taken with Wells Farhh Go yesterday and you couldn't help but be impressed by Tangled's win today.
Bell Watch
A couple of gallops seen in the last 5 days. The first was a stiff gallop where House Edge (picked out for us by Flame) finished upsides a horse called Demurrer with the third horse...
I know Sociey Rock is leading but Epaulette and Lethal Force keep chipping away. Not a certainty yet but good luck to Benny.

As established this isn't the quality information you got from Flame. He pointed out I was often not seeing the whole gallop. So bear that in mind.
Given that First Drive won her 3rd...
In my above post should have said Gibeon and Gravitation and not Grand Lodge. Got my Gs mixed up.
The first 4 races at Thirsk this afternoon illustrate why the FSS are finding it tough this year. The first 4 races were all 2yo races and the winner's sires were Zebedee, Kodiac, Dark Angel and...
Thought Give and Take was going to give Cityscape his first winner in the first at Ascot. Nice run from a filly from the German G family, though famous in this country through the Plantation Stud...
Fair comment, but Rajasinghe ran with a 3lb penalty. He also looked to be crying out for 7-8f already. I'd wait and see on him.
Don't know how Headway measures up against Learn by Heart (Flame...
But we did have an especially good year last year so it rather colours feelings. As Flame says some of them may come through as 3yos.
I think it was you who first pointed it out in 2013/4. You were right
Meanwhile Kodiac keeps cranking them out

QED Flame
You were totally right.
No problem Flame. As I have said on here a few times I just call it as I see it. Will be interesting to see Flying Sparkle on Friday.
Over the years of observing them I must say this is definitely...

With Flame's inputs this is probably redundant now. However once raced First Drive seems to be going the right way and has been featured in a couple of gallops shading it over Flying...
Bolger must be crying into his Champagne.
You are right it is disappointing
Headway ran a fine race yesterday. Havana Gold seems to be getting some nice 2yos. Headway should get further I'd think.
Flame had singled him out as useful in his gallops column.
I feel his 2yos are a touch better this year. The last 2 years have been pretty abysmal.
I also feel his Oaks winner was probably his finest moment. She was pretty good the day she won her race...
Thanks Colin. I'm no Bell fan, he's just accessible. Great work though.
This 2nd season slump is interesting. Probably only Mayson is doing equal to/better than at this stage last year (Frankel is probably the same in terms of wins).
It is probably not a general slump...
