And another winner for SONGSHEET....... !
Hope you get to be a permanent TV fixture !
I think the question 'Why did they start this process' is the key one. Because he's a valuable stallion prospect is the obvious answer. But the owners aren't the ones actually putting the hard,...
I'd say harking back and bitching about old posts is also a questionable pastime on this forum but it obviously has appeal for you.
So how do you know how much of his expertise has gone into RED CADEAUX?!
Most trainers if they get a good horse can manage to train it - it's those trainers that consistently get decent results...
@newpoleblues - know you're all going to be riveted.......:lol
Well done all with our event successes !
Well, you will have ace photographer Tracy Roberts www.turfpix.com in attendance, so should be an excellent photo or so of him if he does the business for you!!
An emotional day for sure with now three great results for the ladies... !
Yes, indeed - lot of courage to have kept going as he did. Certainly a tremendous upheaval lately in the racing world....
Hope there are some serious rose gardens for him now.

+ 1 !
Probably her last foal, SONGSHEET finally foaled a colt last night by HELVELLYN again. It was a quicker and easier foaling than last year and mare has come out of it pretty well, considering her age....
SOVEREIGN DEBT ran a blinder!
She came seventh - not quite good enough although maybe some excuse re ground - maybe she does need good to firm! Broke very well and tried, so can't fault her heart!
Friend saw CHAMPAGNE BABE's trainer yesterday. Trainer says she is the most professional of fillies but she is on the small side and the ground may sap her stamina. Dam's sire is HERNANDO though and...
Some nice entries for my homebred, CHAMPAGNE BABE. Listed at York on Friday and a Class 3 Conditions race at Newbury same day. Trainer obviously thinks a bit of her and would be amazing for me if she...
Commiserations, all - poor mare....
Congrats!
Thanks all!
The mare's first two were colts by poor stallions, so sent her to CAPTAIN RIO as horse I could afford that was proven and I know can throw a decent looker as well as runners. We sent...
Very pleased to report that CHAMPAGNE BABE sluiced up on her racecourse debut at Thirsk today. Always thought a lot of the filly from day I foaled her. And just grateful she was bought by Keith...
Couldn't agree more. It's a biography, not an auto biography. HC has had some sh*te times and some amazing times - he's a brilliant trainer but his private life may, at certain times, been less than...
No, it isn't bizarre - well, only to us, maybe. The following is Krizon's take on this over on Atacanta and worth quoting here:
"Well, all Gulf states have (repressed) opposition to their autonomy...
Re your yearling - might there not be an argument as well as actual blood sampling at the sales for horses to be weighed? I know scene changes etc can cause weight loss but a very dramatic weight...
While I sincerely hope he is being treated with the greatest of care, you'd have to also hope no matter who the patient is, they get treated with respect.
Realistically, I know they don't...
