I have him down as a 7f horse who needs a soft pace to get 8f at a high level - as in the Lockinge, where I think he was flattered.
(Bit off topic now, apologies).
I would have thought Ouqba would have preferred a soft pace.

I thought he travelled beautifully in the Leger before emptying in the last furlong or so.
