Not much help I am afraid, nice horse by all accounts but didnt get more. I was told after Ad Valorem won that there were a few nice ones to come out in the nexy month so he might be one.

Does indeed run tomorrow....along with Albert Hall. Spencer is on Tiger Dance which is a good sign. I think he might be useful.
Other bit of news, looks increasingly likely Mingun could be back on track for something like the Champion Stakes at Newmarket. Back in work now, fingers crossed, they could just as easily decide to leave him off for the season. Also Yeats is walking again but wont be on track for the year.

Very nice performance. Beresford Stakes next?

I haven't been paying enough attention, but he looked the nicest 2YO colt that i've seen so far.

I haven't either but I doubt he's that good. Didn't seem to be a world class field. I thought Ad Valorem last week looked better. There don't seem to be too many quality 2yos around so if they step him up to a mile, which should suit, he'd have a good chance in the Royal Lodge or Beresford.

Lovely-looking indeed, terry, but you also need to see MONTGOMERY'S ARCH and CAESAR BEWARE. They're also well grown-on and beautifully built. That makes a trio of very exciting young boys. TD ran with great gusto and very confidently, I thought, and still full of vim at the end of the race.

Not another impressive Ballydoyle Storm Cat 2yr old was all I could think watching it.
Here we go again!

Ah but a Storm Cat getting a very "un -Storm Cat" two year old season, expect more fireworks from a couple of two year olds next weekend.

I think Aidan is really worried about campaigning his Storm Cat 2yr olds too hard, and is probably letting them take it easy in hope that they will start to show their true form at 3.
Which quite alot actually do, Aidan just seems to have bad luck with them!

I would say it is more than just the Storm Cats, in general O'Brien (as he stated pre season) has been much easier on this 2 year olds this year. Letting the likes of Russian Blue and co cover the better ones now emerging.

You could be right. The two most expensive ones I can think of last year, the brother (maybe half brother) to brahms, the expensive Kingmambo and the expensive Diesis colt haven't run yet, unless I'm missing something.lol. Was Mona Lisa the very expensive filly?

Certainly looked the part and won easily. Let's hope for normal improvement through the winter.

Regarding a comment made in the Racingpost and ATR about his tongue tie. Was told literally last week that Aidan has got it into his head about taking the cross nose bands off the vast majority of the two year olds and fitting most of them with tongue ties regardless. Hadn't thought of it until I noticed it in the Racingpost this morning, interesting to see if this actually starts happening.

Jon, I haven't seen those two yet.
What i liked about the Tiger was the way that he moved. He doesn't waste anything. He just eats up the ground and nothing seems to move up and down or sideways. Total efficiency. And when he drew alongside the other two, you wondered if he had it or not. You wanted him to do something special and he did.
Whether he'd be as good on soft ground, I don't know, but he looks pretty useful to me.

He was comprehensively rubbished before the race by the "experts" in the studio.

Yes, he looked good, and might turn out to be decent, but he beat nothing. Nothing at all. Irish Question, the second, was not at all impressive in the parade ring. The time of the race was pretty slow as well.

That may be so Grey, but he went about his business like a pro.

I would think given a stronger pace he would have won easier. Nice horse but a long way to go yet. One or two others to emerge yet that could be interesting.

Etijahaat, who was well beaten by Tiger Dance, pissed in today and Weld is talking about him as a stakes horse. Maybe Tiger Dance did beat something that day after all......

If they send him out again this year the Kilavullan would seem the obvious choice if they don't want to try group one company, which seems to be the case.
Etjihaat was impressive today.

Have to say I am intrigued at the campaign (or lack of) some of the 2 year olds are getting this year. Very un-O'Brien like.

Perhaps more of them have shown enough stamina to win an Ascot Gold Cup rather than the speed to win a July Cup.
Or, maybe the lousy spring and summer has left the 2-y-os a little more backward than usual.
