Quiff ran away with it today. I took a little of the 25s available this morning for the St Leger. She is now clear second favourite behind Rule Of Law. I still prefer one or two others in that though.

She is lightly exposed and shouldn't be dismissed lightly however. Stoute also had North Light and still has Maraahel who is a fraction behind her in Leger betting.

North Light is a non runner in the St Leger

About Quiff
I liked her,but difficult to know what she beat and very ground dependent, I think they will go to the Vermeille, specially if soft ground at Longchamp.

Which others do you prefer Steve? Thought today was aquite taking performance.Impossible to leave her out of any race now, improving fillys just keep on improving.

She is now 5/2 favourite for the Leger with Ladbrokes.

I am eager to learn of the situation with Tycoon before firming up with my selections.

After Day Flight ran so unexcitingly today Quiff now must come into consideration as the Juddmonte Arc runner- if it is good to soft or worse she will be a big danger to all

The case for Quiff taking part is being strongly supported James. If Khalid Abdulla puts up the ante, which although significant shouldn't be too much of a problem for him, she must surely hold tremendous chances of being right there in the shake up. The old adage of not backing against an improving filly in the Arc should not be ignored, certainly not in her case.

It could be significant, however, that connections were not at all downbeat about Day Flight getting beaten today, although it is considered that he will improve next year.
