Noticed Mingun's in the 5 day entries for the Listed Stanleybet Diamond Stakes at the Curragh on Saturday. Doesn't look like it's just AOB block-entering half his string like he normally does, as Mikado and Book Of Kings are his only others. Should it therefore be taken that there's a realistic chance of seeing him back in action?

He would be very interesting.

As I said some weeks ago, Mingun is back in full training.

I would also take note of the majority of the unraced/raced two year olds Ballydoyle has entered this weekend. These are those regarded at Group horses next year, particularly a couple of them.

Injured, if they get him back he will go for the Breeders Turf.

Thanks Aidan-I missed the Racing Post a couple of days last week.I was planning on having a big punt on him for the Breeders but couldn't understand why someone on betfair was going 18s.

Mingun has also been left in the Champion Stakes, very postive signs and sounds.

Great to hear Aidan, thanks again. I see Ecomium is also being aimed at Saturday's race after a long lay-off.

Mingun working very bad by all accounts yet still could be good enough to beat these as has won on bad ground when fresh before. Expect him to drift. Tolpuddle well fancied by connections but not certain to stay 10f.

Tipp All Star no probs with trip and ground and should come on for run last day for me.

If Ecomium is fit and fancied they won't see which way he goes. If he's just warming up for something later on then Mingun should be OK.

Excellent chance Maurice - has been working with their winner Wizard of Noz yesterday and is apparently over the worst of the problems. Plenty of money for him over here this morning also.

PLenty of money for him everywhere it seems (PP 6/1 - 4/1) but he was never available at the Racing Post forecast odds (9/1). I'll be happy just to see him run a promising race.

Mingun will badly need this race, ground could be very soft. Has been pissing rain down here (near the Curragh) all morning. If Econium is going to beat Mingun nows his chance. I would be wary of the O'Brien juvenile in the first too, plenty of ability but massive field and soft ground hardly going to suit. Definately one to look out for at a later date though. Saoire will relish the softer conditions and fancy her to win the Weld Stakes.

Just looking at the betting the market is speaking very strongly in favour of Tolpuddle and a little bit for Mikado. Mingun drifting all the time.

Granted he comes out of the race ok Mingun will be a much different proposition on faster ground.

Certainly seemed uneasy on the ground, and wandered about towards the end. An encouraging run from both him and Ecomium, though. Mikado's no slouch and was enjoying a huge fitness edge, and they all pulled comfortably clear of the rest. Can't wait to see them both stepped up in class...

I think Ecomuin and Mingun rune very well and will have oportunities very soon to win a group race.

Econium looks to be done for the season. Mingun is being talked of as a Champion Stakes horse but that might come a bit soon for him after this run. Shame he has only got back on track now.

"Tipp All Star no probs with trip and ground and should come on for run last day for me."

Watchout for Tipperary All Star over hurdles this season. I know the stable think that he's decent over the obstacles.

Interesting to see if he actually does go hurdling, he was meant to last year but that was postponed. High Priestess is another decent tool on the flat entered over the jumps, might be one to look out for.
Heard Major Vernon is the novice hurdler to look out for from the Mullins yard this year.
