allthough haafdh is left in i think hills plan is to withdraw him (according to this mornings rp) and aim him for the champion

mumblings about large fields and fast ground

perhaps if the triumph hurdle cuts up that may be on the agenda


i think the race is between rakti and rtb

over a mile instead ofletting rakti pull like a train they could let him go on

this is not a race for the fillies or for horses that have not won in the season

Shall we read anything into MJ leaving in Lucky Story and taking Attraction out?

I couldnt believe they were considering Haafhd for The Champion Stakes. I know he seemed to get the mile well in The Guineas, but I think he would be even better at seven. In fact, when people were making big noises about Attraction being able to take The July Cup ,against so-so sprinters, as a matter of course , I would have been far more expectant of Haafhd beating them. Cant ever see him getting 10f, and as Ascots mile is a lot stiffer than Newmarkets, I dont think he gets it there either. Like him though!
